Help and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Specialization

‘Specialization’ indicates a specific area in which a particular user has been contributing quality posts. After a certain threshold is met based on the number of contributions as well as the feedback from other user’s on those contributions – a user gets a specialty badge automatically.

A user can earn specializations in the following areas:

1. Restaurants
2. Bars Grills & Pubs
3. Shopping
4. Sports and other activities
5. Family fun
6. Outdoors
7. Tourist attractions

Specialization is not specific to a city or ZIP code. You can become a specialist in any of these seven areas by doing the following:

1. Write reviews for any business in that category

2. Upload photos for any business in that category

3. Add any business from that category to your collections

4. Adding any business/location from that category to your “Plan to go” or “Been there” lists.

Once you have made enough contributions, your specialization icons will start appearing on your profile.

Collections

Ever thought of sharing your Vegas trip with your friends? Collections make it easy for you. Collections are a way to maintain a list of points on a map. This could be the list of casinos you visited in your Las Vegas trip or the list of your favorite shopping malls or restaurants. Make any such collection and share it with your friends. You may create a collection from your “city profile” page by clicking on “Create new collection.” Provide the required details like Title (e.g. My Vegas trip), Notes (My summer trip after my college to the best casinos of the world), and Tags (Vegas, Casinos, summer trip) etc. Here you also have an option of making your collections public or private. Also you can make it searchable, so others can easily find your collection. Once you have provided these details, you are all set to add items to your collection. Click on “Add to” to start adding items. If you are sure of the exact location, you can add items by directly clicking on the map at desired location. If you are not sure, you can do a search (e.g. Casino Royale, Vegas) to find your item. Once you get your location click on “Click here to select your location” and the item would be added to your collection. You can add maximum of 200 items to your collection. It’s easy to start building a collection and share it with your friends.
