The Blue Whale is a classic Route 66 landmark and curiosity that rests in Catoosa, Okla. The park closed down long ago and was left to crumble but it was recently restored through fundraising efforts. Route 66 travelers bring their children here to visit the whale and recount stories about how they visited it when they were young.
